We have clear competitive EICR prices which can be found below.  For more details or to ask any questions please get in touch, we look forward to hearing from you.

Why do I need an EICR in East London ?

It is essential that you carry out regular checks on the electrical systems and installations in your property. All properties should be retested periodically. Retest periods vary for different property types, to ensure optimal safety tests should be performed on the following intervals:

Domestic Property: 10 years
Rented Houses: 5 years
Other Property Types: Please enquire

If you are a Landlord an EICR is a legal requirement and should be carried out every 5 years to ensure the safety of those living, working and visiting the property.

While it is not a legal requirement for those that are not Landlords EICRs can be useful when selling or buying a property.  Before purchasing a property it is wise to ask the seller if they have a recent EICR.  This will give you additional information and clarity on the condition of the property’s electrical installation.  If they do not have an EICR you are advised to request one.

EICR can also find areas of potential deterioration before they become damaged and cause greater damage and repairs and provide you with general peace of mind.

This observation means “Potentially dangerous, urgent remedial action required”
